Well I'm not the best at keeping up on my blog. So much has happened since I last wrote. Well it has been almost a month. It's so amazing how so much can happen is so little time. So Jake started at Pogo Mine on the 6th. He was supposed to work for 2 weeks and then come home for one, but his dad was able to get him on the 4 and 2 schedule which is the better choice. Since he was already up there when they moved him to the 4 and 2 he ended up only working for 10 days, then coming home for 1 week and now he'll head back up on Wednesday. Many people think that we are crazy for doing this, but it seems like it's what we are supposed to do. No doubt it is difficult to not be able to see my husband everyday, but I know Heavenly Father is helping me cope with it because it hasn't been too difficult. Although I am loving having him back and have missing him so much in only 10 days. We'll see if we can last the 4 weeks. Although seeing how much happier he is at this job then at the Hospital helps me feel better as well.
So our annual Snowbird trip was last week and of course I had a very enjoyable time up there. I'm sure to some it's not as fun as my family has up there, but there are so many things that make Snowbird one of my favorite places. I love the mountain air and beautiful scenery. I enjoy being with my family and playing games pretty much the entire time. I love swimming and going to swimming pool with all the cute little neices and nephews. I have so many memories of the place considering I have been going there literally all my live. My mother went into labor while they were up at Snowbird and every year my Grandma says "I remember when you're mother called up here to tells us she had twins. No one believed her." Ever since then my birthday has always landed on the week we go to snowbird. Which leads me to the last part of this long blog. I turned 28! I cannot believe how old I am getting. I know I'm not really old, but it's still surprisign out fast time seems to go. I swear I just gratuated and now I'm staring down my 10 year reunion. I still have mixed feelings about going. High School was not one of my favorite times in my life. I still to this day am not sure people even remember who I am. However, isn't your High School Reunion a kind of right of passage? I'll probably end up going.
